On Friday, March 6, Chris Daniels — a Lynnfield High School alum — saw his current college squad, the WPI Engineers, drop a 46-63 decision to the Amherst Mammoths during the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The 5 p.m. contest, hosted at Ron Rosner Arena, marked the tournament’s first-round meeting between WPI and Amherst.
These former North Boston area high school athletes will take part in events on Wednesday, April 29.
