Tuition and fees rose 4.4 percent for 2018-19 at Montserrat College of Art, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Massachusetts students paid $33,400 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,400 more than the $32,000 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 85 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.4 million and 66 students took out student loans totaling more than $742,656.

Including all undergraduates (367), 360 students used grants or scholarships totaling $5.4 million, and 300 students took out $2.1 million in federal student loans.
