Adreanna Doucette made 40 saves for the Merrimack women’s hockey team, but the effort was not enough as the team lost 2-0 to the Maine Black Bears at Lawler Arena on Thursday. This performance marked Doucette’s third-highest save total of the season and her second game with at least 40 saves. Last weekend, Doucette was named Hockey East Goaltender of the Week.

Another milestone was reached during the game as McKenzie Cerrato played in her 100th collegiate contest.
