AJ Forte, a former Peabody Veterans Memorial High School standout who now plays for the Endicott Gulls, is set to take part in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The Gulls will open the tournament by playing the Neumann Knights.
The first-round matchup is scheduled for Friday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m. in MacDonald Gymnasium.
Merrimack College Women’s Lacrosse edged out Manhattan University with an 8-7 win on senior day. Key performances included Sophia Ingenito’s two goals and assists as well as strong defensive efforts from Mia Juvelier.
These former North Boston area high school standouts will be active on Sunday, April 12.
Merrimack College’s baseball team fell short against Northeastern after twelve innings, losing 11-10. Key performances included Matt DeShiro’s home run and Brooks Craigue’s three hits.
