Marcus Montagnino, a former Gloucester High School player, is set to participate in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament as a member of the Endicott Gulls.
The team will open the tournament with a matchup against the Neumann Knights.
The tournament’s first game is scheduled for Friday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m. inside MacDonald Gymnasium.
Thirteen members of the Merrimack College women’s softball team have been named to the MAAC All-Academic Team for their academic achievements. The honorees represent various majors across science, engineering and humanities disciplines.
Merrimack College baseball defeated Mount St. Mary’s by scoring sixteen runs to complete a series sweep. Multiple players had standout performances as they combined for seventeen hits in Sunday’s game.
These former North Boston area high school standouts are scheduled to compete the week starting Monday, May 4.
