Jack Salva has been named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Rookie Team following the conclusion of the men’s lacrosse regular season, according to an April 28 announcement by the conference.
This recognition highlights Salva’s impact as a freshman for Merrimack, where he ranks second on the team in both points, with 36, and goals, with 24. His performance contributed significantly to his team’s offense throughout the season.
Salva earned additional honors during his debut campaign. He was selected as both Offensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week by the MAAC for his efforts between March 30 and April 5, a period in which he recorded six points in one game. The week prior, he received First Team honors from the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA).
Looking ahead, Salva and his teammates will continue their postseason journey as they travel to Siena for a semifinal matchup in the MAAC Men’s Lacrosse Championships.
The broader significance of these achievements reflects both individual promise for Salva and continued competitive presence for Merrimack within conference play.
