On Friday, March 27, Kur Teng—a former standout at Bradford Christian Academy—saw his current team, the Michigan State Spartans, fall 67-63 to the UConn Huskies in the NCAA Tournament.
The matchup was held at Capital One Arena with a 9:45 p.m. tipoff.
Merrimack junior captain Mia Juvelier has been named to the All-MAAC First Team after leading in draw controls this season. Head coach Jen Fox Sargent praised Juvelier’s achievement as both an individual milestone and a sign of growth for the women’s lacrosse program.
Five Merrimack College women’s golf players have been selected for the conference’s all-academic team. The honor recognizes their achievements both academically and athletically.
Colin Kruger and Jaden Galfano from Merrimack College have been named MAAC Players of the Week after a win against Siena. The team finished fourth in conference standings and will host Quinnipiac in an upcoming playoff game.
