Lindberg, Cerrato, Hawn score but Merrimack falls to New Hampshire

Maria Lindberg, McKenzie Cerrato, and Neely Hawn each contributed multiple points for the Merrimack women’s hockey team in their game against New Hampshire at the Whittemore Center on Friday. Despite these efforts, Merrimack lost 4-2.

New Hampshire established an early advantage by scoring three goals within the first 30 minutes of play. Lindberg responded with her third goal of the season during the second period. In the final minutes, Cerrato scored on an empty net with assists from Hawn and Lindberg.

Merrimack will recognize its senior players on Saturday during a home game against Providence College at Lawler Arena. The match is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be available to watch on ESPN+.
