Merrimack baseball defeated Manhattan 14-0 on Mar. 28, securing a decisive shutout victory in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

The game was marked by strong pitching and consistent offense from Merrimack. Chris Kiesiner, Nick Hunkele, AJ Holmes, and Bobby Loper combined efforts on the mound to hold the Manhattan Jaspers to just four hits while recording seven strikeouts.

All members of Merrimack’s starting lineup contributed at least one hit during the game. Greg Cristino continued his strong performance with a home run for the second consecutive game and added a double while driving in two runs. Brooks Craigue had both a double and a single, leading the team with three runs batted in.

Joey Frammartino reached base four times through a double and three walks and contributed two runs batted in. Matt DeShiro, Jack Andrews, and Jack DePalma each recorded two hits as well; both Andrews and DePalma drove in one run apiece.

The teams are scheduled to meet again for another matchup tomorrow afternoon at noon.
