Merrimack College baseball lost to the Bryant Bulldogs 20-10 in a non-conference matchup on May 5. The game, played in Lawrence, Massachusetts, ended after seven innings.
Despite the loss, Merrimack’s offense produced ten runs on ten hits. Garrett McGovern led the Warriors with two hits—a double and a single—and drove in two runs. Matt DeShiro, Joey Frammartino, and Christian Scanlon each hit home runs to right field and contributed two runs batted in apiece.
Brooks Craigue reached base three times with a hit and two walks during the contest. Jayden Hamilton also recorded two hits for Merrimack.
The result leaves Merrimack looking ahead to their final away series of the season against Saint Peter’s. The games are scheduled for Friday at 3 p.m., Saturday at 1 p.m., and Sunday at noon.
The team will aim to rebound from this defeat as they close out their road schedule.
