Merrimack College baseball lost to Boston College 12-2 on Mar. 25 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Matt DeShiro and Greg Cristino each recorded two hits during the game. Cristino also drove in a run with a single to center field in the fifth inning. Garrett McGovern contributed with a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning, had a hit earlier in the fourth, and reached base after being hit by a pitch. Jayden Hamilton reached base twice through both a hit and a walk. Christian Scanlon added a double while Chris Goode chipped in with a single.
Looking ahead, Merrimack will return home this weekend for three games against Manhattan, an opponent from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).
The team’s next series provides an opportunity to regroup after this loss and focus on conference play.
