Merrimack College Women’s Lacrosse secured an 8-7 victory over Manhattan University on April 11 in North Andover, Massachusetts. The win came during the team’s senior day celebration.
The match was closely contested, with several players making key contributions. Sophia Ingenito scored two goals and provided two assists, continuing her strong performance from the previous week. Freshman Brooke Eggleston also added two goals in the home finale, while Mia Estelle contributed both two goals and an assist.
Hailey Schnider took six shots on goal, finishing with one goal and one assist. Kaitlin Roche opened the scoring for Merrimack in the second half of play. On defense, Mia Juvelier led her team by collecting four ground balls and securing five draw controls.
The game marked Merrimack’s final home appearance of the regular season. The Warriors are scheduled to finish their regular season next Saturday, April 18, at Iona College in New Rochelle with a gametime set for 11 a.m.
