Merrimack freshman attack Jack Salva received two Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) weekly honors on Apr. 6, being named both Offensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week. The awards followed a stretch from March 30 to April 5 in which Salva recorded six points—four goals and two assists—in a close win over Manhattan.

These conference recognitions come just one week after Salva was selected as a First Team honoree for a New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) weekly award. The back-to-back honors highlight his growing impact on the team this season.

Salva currently leads the Merrimack Warriors with 29 points, tallying 19 goals and 10 assists across twelve games played so far. His performance has contributed significantly to the team’s success during this period.

The continued recognition from both conference and regional organizations reflects Salva’s consistent play as a freshman and signals his potential for further contributions as the season progresses.
