Merrimack men’s golf finished in 11th place out of 12 teams at the Columbia Spring Invitational, held on March 31 in Springfield, Pennsylvania.
The event gave the team a chance to compete against regional opponents and assess their performance ahead of future tournaments.
The invitational took place at Rolling Green Golf Club. Drexel secured first place with a total score of +30, followed by Penn at +33 and Manhattan at +43. Merrimack posted a team score of +66 to finish just above last place.
Individually, Rafli Sati led the Warriors with a two-round total of +8, placing ninth overall after rounds of +2 and +6. Brendan Zinck recorded a combined score of +17 for 47th place. Sean Roddy ended with a total of +20 (56th), Saketh Hegde finished at +22 (60th), and Nate Crowley rounded out the lineup with a score of +26 (67th).
The Warriors are scheduled to return to competition on April 12 for the ABARTA Coca-Cola Collegiate Invitational, which will be held in Easton, Pennsylvania at Northampton Country Club.
