Merrimack men’s golf finished its 2026 season with an eighth place result at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championships in Orlando, Florida, according to an April 30 announcement.
The championship took place at Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course. Iona secured first place with a score of four under par, while Sacred Heart and Siena finished second and third respectively. Merrimack ended the tournament with a total score of +46.
Rafli Sati led Merrimack, finishing seventeenth overall after rounds of -1, +2, and +6. Sean Roddy followed in twentieth place with scores of +1, +5, and +4. Brendan Zinck placed thirty-first (+7, +3, +4), Nate Crowley was thirty-sixth (+9, +5, +2), Saketh Hegde was fifty-fifth (+11 in round one and a sub in round two before returning for a final round of +5), and Jimmy Schouller completed the team lineup in fifty-eighth position (substituted out for round one before scoring +11 and then +7).
The team announced that this marks the conclusion of their 2025-26 season. “The Warriors thank you for your support and dedication, and look forward to competing next year,” the statement said.
Looking ahead to future seasons, Merrimack aims to build on this experience as they prepare for next year’s competitions.
