Merrimack College men’s golf team will begin a three-round championship tournament in Orlando, Florida on April 27.
The event is part of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and brings together teams from across the conference. The tournament will be held at Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course.
Teams participating include Fairfield, Niagara, Merrimack, Siena, Sacred Heart, Mount St. Mary’s, Iona, Manhattan, Rider, Canisius and Saint Peter’s. The lineup for Merrimack includes Rafli Sati teeing off at 9:21 am, Saketh Hegde at 9:12 am, Brendan Zinck at 9:03 am, Nate Crowley at 8:54 am and Sean Roddy at 8:45 am. Jimmy Schouller is listed as a substitute.
This championship provides an opportunity for Merrimack to compete against other schools in the conference over three days of play. The outcome could influence standings within the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
The competition is set to take place on one of Orlando’s well-known courses and will showcase talent from several colleges.
