Merrimack men’s lacrosse defeated Mount St. Mary’s 9-8, led by a hat trick from Jack Salva, according to a March 21 announcement.
The close win highlights the team’s balanced offense and strong individual performances as they continue their season.
Salva scored three goals on eight shots and collected two ground balls in the game. Colin Kruger and Finn Dougherty each contributed both a goal and an assist. Daniel Bezrutchenko won ten face offs and led the team with six ground balls.
Additional goals came from Alystair Hemburger, John Savino, Conor Noone, and Casey Herod. Rob Tyra and Brendan Harty each recorded an assist for Merrimack.
The Warriors will return home for their next game against conference opponent Quinnipiac on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
