Merrimack College men’s lacrosse team will start its Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) schedule on Saturday, playing against Sacred Heart University in Fairfield.
Colin Kruger is expected to lead the team’s offense. He has scored at least one goal in each of his last five games, including three games where he scored three or more goals. Kruger currently ranks fifth in the conference for total goals with 12 and sixth in points with 16.
Alystair Hemberger and Casey Herod are also contributing to the team’s performance. Both players are tied for seventh place in the conference for assists, each recording six so far this season.
In faceoffs, Daniel Berzrutchenko has won 74, which is the second highest total in the MAAC.
