The Merrimack College men’s lacrosse team will face Marist at Duane Stadium on March 13 as the Warriors look to secure a conference win and end their current losing streak.

This game is important for Merrimack, which holds a 1-6 overall record and is 0-1 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The team is aiming to rebound after a close loss to Sacred Heart in its conference opener last Saturday.

Colin Kruger has been a standout for the Warriors this season, leading the team with 21 points and 17 goals. In the recent game against Sacred Heart, Kruger scored a career-high five goals. He is one of five players on the roster who have reached double digits in points so far this season. Alystair Hemberger and Casey Herod are tied for the most assists on the team, each recording six.

The opening draw between Merrimack and Marist is scheduled for noon Eastern Time at Duane Stadium.

As both teams prepare for this matchup, Merrimack will be looking to capitalize on home field advantage and improve its standing within the conference.
