Merrimack men’s tennis records multiple wins at Stonehill Doubles Invitational

The Merrimack men’s tennis team began its 2025-26 season at the Stonehill Doubles Invitational in North Easton, Massachusetts. Several pairs from the team achieved multiple victories during the event.

Ludolph Wiggett and Strahinja Djukic secured two wins in Flight A, defeating Stonehill’s Borch-Neilsen and Beudry with a score of 6-2, and Roger Williams’ DeSisto and Carroll 6-4.

Chhabria and Juan Carlos Portilla Morales also had a strong showing, winning two out of three matches. They overcame Chandler and Modol from Stonehill (6-2) as well as Taylor and Rodriguez from Roger Williams (6-3).

In Flight C doubles, Björn Hedegaard-Friis and Trey Pleasant earned victories over Southern New Hampshire’s Eckert and Cadilhac (6-3), along with Roger Williams’ Poitras and Hurlburt (6-1).

The Warriors are scheduled to compete next on September 13 at the BU Invite.
