Merrimack men’s track finishes seventh at MAAC Indoor Championships

Merrimack College’s men’s track and field team finished seventh at the MAAC Indoor Championships in New York, earning 42 points. The event took place on Sunday afternoon.

Gab Qureshi secured second place in the 400-meter final with a time of 47.94 seconds. In the shot put, Grant Eastin also took second with a throw of 15.15 meters, while Kyle Adams finished sixth at 14.62 meters.

Elizardo Melenciano placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles, clocking in at 8.27 seconds. The relay team consisting of John Azpiri-Sudusky, Keith Townsend, Elizardo Melenciano, and Gab Qureshi finished fourth in the 4×400 meter relay with a time of 3:18.33.

Aidan Dupill came fifth in the 3000-meter race with a time of 8:28.00.
