Merrimack men’s track secures two podiums at NEICAAA Indoor Championships

Members of the Merrimack College men’s track and field team achieved two podium finishes on the final day of the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Indoor Championships in Boston on Saturday.

Gab Qureshi secured second place in the 400 meter dash, recording a time of 48.31 seconds.

The relay team consisting of John Azpiri-Sudusky, Keith Townsend, Elizardo Melenciano, and Gab Qureshi earned a podium spot in the 4×400 relay with a time of 3:18.09.

In other results, Elizardo Melenciano finished sixth in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.58 seconds. Evan Thevenot placed seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 13.48 meters.
