The Merrimack College men’s volleyball team was defeated by Long Island University in straight sets on Friday night in Brooklyn, New York.

Dallas Birkenbeuel led the Warriors with 11 kills and seven digs. Jack Johnson recorded a career-high eight kills, five digs, and two block assists. Max Tkachev contributed six kills and seven digs, while Nathaniel Venegas added two block assists.

The Warriors, who now hold a 3-8 record for the season, are scheduled to play LIU again on Saturday at 6 p.m., with coverage available on ESPN+.
