Merrimack men’s volleyball hosts Sacred Heart for Senior Day matchup

Merrimack College’s men’s volleyball team is set to face Sacred Heart University on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. The match will take place at Hammel Court in North Andover, Massachusetts.

The event will also serve as Senior Day for four Merrimack players: Charlie Hoover (#13), Nick Tidik (#23), Kyle Wagner (#3), and Kyle Standage (#11).

Dallas Birkenbeuel leads the Warriors this season with 180 kills and has contributed 76 digs. Max Tkachev follows with 123 kills, 59 digs, and 13 service aces. Blake Taschner has recorded 69 kills, 103 assists, 76 digs, and 18 blocks so far.

Setter Reece Lindstrom has accumulated a total of 325 assists after his recent performance against St Thomas Aquinas where he added 33 assists. Libero Kyle Standage leads the team in digs with a total of 120.

Nick Tidik has made an impact with 63 kills and holds a team-high of 29 total blocks. Jack Johnson and Nathaniel Venegas have contributed defensively as well, recording 28 and 21 blocks respectively.
