Merrimack men’s volleyball earned a 3-1 victory over American International College on March 19 in North Andover, Massachusetts.
The match was highlighted by strong performances from several Merrimack players. Dallas Birkenbeuel led the team with 17 kills, nine digs, and three block assists. Blake Taschner contributed eight kills and came close to a double-double with 11 digs.
Other notable contributions included Max Tkachev with seven kills and Nick Tidik with six. Tidik also led the team in blocks, recording two total blocks through four block assists. Kyle Standage set a personal milestone by leading the team in digs with 20, marking the highest single-game total of his career. Setter Reece Lindstrom supported the offense with 39 assists during the match.
The Warriors will return to action for their final home game of the season next Wednesday at 6 p.m., when they face Nichols.
