The Merrimack men’s tennis team lost to Marist by a score of 6-1 on Saturday, according to an announcement on Apr. 4.

This match outcome is important for the Warriors as they continue their season and look to improve in upcoming contests.

During the match, Bjorn Hedegaard-Friis secured the lone point for Merrimack with a win at No. 5 singles. He came from behind to defeat his opponent in three sets, finishing with scores of 4-6, 6-1, and 6-4.

The rest of the team was unable to secure additional points against Marist, resulting in a decisive victory for the home side.

Looking ahead, Merrimack will return to action on Wednesday when they host Quinnipiac at North Andover High School.
