Merrimack men’s tennis team falls to Rider in 7-0 loss

The Merrimack men’s tennis team lost to Rider University by a score of 7-0 on April 3.

The match saw the Warriors unable to secure a win in either singles or doubles play. Ludolph Wiggett was defeated in three sets at No. 3 singles, while the doubles pair of Trey Pleasant and Bjorn Hedegaard-Friis lost their No. 3 doubles match with a score of 6-4.

The defeat leaves Merrimack looking for improvement as they continue their season. The team’s next opportunity will come when they return to action on Saturday against Marist.

This result adds another challenge for the Warriors as they look ahead to future matches and work toward building momentum for the remainder of their schedule.
