Merrimack softball falls to Siena 1-0 in Saturday game

Merrimack College’s women’s softball team lost to Siena by a score of 1-0 on Saturday afternoon, April 25.

The only run of the game was scored by Siena in the first inning, which proved decisive as Merrimack was unable to respond offensively. Alex Miller recorded the only hit for the Warriors during the matchup. Anna Geadcht pitched six innings for Merrimack, allowing six hits and striking out one batter.

This result prevented Merrimack from completing a sweep over Siena. The loss comes as the Warriors approach their final week of regular season play.

Looking ahead, Merrimack will begin its last week of the season with a doubleheader against Brown scheduled for Wednesday.
