Merrimack College Softball finished its series with Fairfield University Stags on March 15 at Warrior Diamond in North Andover, Massachusetts.
The game saw the Warriors score twice in the first inning, with Madeline Arvai hitting a run-batted-in double and Alex Miller adding a single. Merrimack added another run in the fourth inning through a single by Jamie Calkins and scored once more in the fifth when Sam Russalesi singled to left field.
Miller, Russalesi, and Calkins each collected two hits during the game, while Arvai and Anna Mitrou contributed one hit apiece. The team tallied a total of eight hits for the matchup.
The Warriors are set to continue their home stand on Wednesday as they host a doubleheader against UMass Lowell Riverhawks.
