The Merrimack Warriors baseball team lost to the Brown University Bears by a score of 10-0 on Apr. 8 in Providence, Rhode Island.
The loss marks a setback for the Warriors as they continue their season. The game saw several players reach base, but the team was unable to bring any runs across.
Joey Frammartino reached base twice with a hit and a walk, while Jayden Hamilton also contributed with both a walk and a hit. Matt DeShiro added another hit for the Warriors. Brooke Craigue, Jack Andrews, and Christian Scanlon each drew walks during the game.
On the mound, James Nichols and Oliver Barkal each pitched an inning and recorded two strikeouts apiece.
Looking ahead, the Warriors will play three games at Northeastern this weekend. They are scheduled to face the Huskies on Friday and Saturday before playing a neutral site game against the Maine Black Bears on Sunday.
