Merrimack Warriors fall to Manhattan Jaspers in 10-3 baseball loss

The Merrimack Warriors lost to the Manhattan University Jaspers, 10-3, on Friday afternoon, March 27. The game took place in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

The loss puts the Warriors at a disadvantage early in their weekend series against the Jaspers. Both teams are scheduled to play again on Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at noon.

Cristino hit a solo home run to left center field in the fourth inning, ending the shutout by Manhattan. He later added a single for his second hit of the game. Jack Andrews contributed with two singles, reaching base twice during the matchup.

Joey Frammartino walked and drove in a runner with a single during the seventh inning. Matt DeShiro also brought in a run after being hit by a pitch and collected another hit during his time at bat.

Both teams will continue their series over the weekend as they look for improved performances.
