The Merrimack Warriors women’s basketball team will play against Fairfield in the semifinal round of the MAAC Women’s Basketball Championships at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The game is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, at 2:30 p.m. ET.
Merrimack, holding a season record of 19-11 overall and 15-5 in conference play, reached the semifinals after defeating Mount St. Mary’s with a score of 62-48 in the quarterfinals. Fairfield, ranked No. 25 nationally in Division I women’s basketball and seeded second in the tournament, advanced to this stage following a win over Sacred Heart.
