Merrimack Warriors to face Marist in MAAC basketball semifinals

The Merrimack Warriors men’s basketball team will play against Marist in the semifinals of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s Basketball Championships. The game is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, at 6 p.m. ET at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Merrimack enters the semifinal round as the top seed with a season record of 22 wins and 10 losses, including a 17-3 mark in conference play. The team secured its spot in the semifinals after defeating Sacred Heart 70-48 in the quarterfinals. Merrimack had received a first-round bye by winning the regular-season title.

Marist advanced to face Merrimack following a close win over Quinnipiac, finishing that game with a score of 77-75 on Saturday night.
