Merrimack College women’s golf team finished fifth in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championship, according to an April 23 announcement. The tournament took place at Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course in Orlando, Florida.
The event marks the end of the 2025-26 season for Merrimack. The team’s performance was led by June Doerr, Erika Redmond, and Olivia Williams. Doerr placed sixth overall with a total score of +6 after three rounds (+6, +1, -1). Redmond and Williams both tied for fourteenth place with scores of +11 each. Other contributors included Yasmine Qureshi (+30), Mya Murphy (+18), and Jillian Johnson (+7).
Quinnipiac University won the championship with a team score of +21. Fairfield University finished second at +23, while UAlbany came in third at +28. Merrimack completed the tournament with a total score of +51.
The conclusion of this championship also closes out Merrimack’s season. In their statement, the Warriors said: “The Warriors thank you for your support and dedication, and look forward to competing next year.”
