The Merrimack women’s lacrosse team lost to Marist 14-9 at Duane Stadium, according to an announcement on Apr. 1.
The result marks a setback for the Warriors as they continue their season. The match saw Mia Estelle score a hat trick, but it was not enough for Merrimack to overcome Marist’s lead.
Hailey Schnider and Brooke Eggleston each contributed two goals for the Warriors, while Lindsay Atkinson and Ashlyn Campbell added one goal apiece. Merrimack trailed by three goals at halftime with a score of 8-5 and finished the game with ten shots on goal.
The Warriors will look to rebound in their next home game when they host Quinnipiac at Duane Stadium on Saturday at noon Eastern Time.
