Merrimack women’s golf will participate in a three-day tournament at the Ozarks National Golf Course starting March 23. The event, held in Hollister, Missouri, will feature teams from across the country.
The tournament is significant as it brings together collegiate teams for competitive play and provides an opportunity for Merrimack athletes to test their skills against a diverse field.
Opponents include South Dakota State, Lindenwood, Drury, West Florida, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Texas El Paso, Northern Iowa, Missouri State (the host), McLennan Community College, South Dakota, Illinois State, Indiana State, and Oklahoma City University. Merrimack’s lineup features Erika Redmond and Yasmine Qureshi teeing off at 11 a.m. on the 15th hole; June Doerr and Olivia Williams at 11 a.m. on the 16th hole; and Mya Murphy at 11 a.m. on the 17th hole.
The competition runs from March 23 through March 25. Tee times have been set for all participating Merrimack golfers.
This tournament offers valuable experience for Merrimack’s team as they compete with programs from various regions.
