The Merrimack College women’s lacrosse team secured a decisive 17-6 win over Radford University on Mar. 10, taking an early lead and maintaining control throughout the game.

The result highlights Merrimack’s strong performance as they continue their season. The team’s offensive and defensive efforts contributed to the significant margin of victory.

Lindsay Atkinson led the Warriors with six points, scoring four goals and providing two assists while taking seven shots on goal. Kaitlin Roche also made a notable impact by scoring four goals from four shots. Mia Juvelier achieved a career high with 16 draw controls during the match.

Hailey Schider, who scored seven goals in the previous week, added three more along with two assists and led the team in ground balls with two. Sophia Ingenito contributed three assists—reaching double digits in points for the season—and scored two goals herself. Alli Lamphere and Mia Estelle each added two goals to round out Merrimack’s offense.

Looking ahead, the Warriors will travel to South Carolina this Friday to face Presbyterian College, with game time scheduled for 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
