Merrimack women’s tennis falls to Mount St. Mary’s in home match

The Merrimack women’s tennis team was defeated by Mount St. Mary’s with a score of 4-0 on Sunday at the Willows Racquet & Tennis Club in North Andover, Massachusetts.

During the match, Kiana Thompson secured her first set 7-5, but the match was not completed because Mount St. Mary’s had already clinched the overall victory. Guiia Martins Cavalcante lost her first set 6-3 and was leading 4-1 in the second set when play stopped due to the Mountaineers’ win.

Merrimack is scheduled to play its next Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) match against Niagara on March 1.
