The Merrimack women’s tennis team is set to begin its spring season this Saturday, hosting New Haven at the Willows Racquet & Fitness Center. The match will start at 12 p.m. and marks the first of five consecutive home matches for Merrimack.

Head coach Adam Courtemanche commented on the upcoming opener: “The team is excited to start competing again with our first match against University of New Haven. We will have had two and a half weeks of practice to prepare for a talented team that has recently transitioned from D2 to D1. New Haven will be the first of 15 matches this semester. We are hoping to get off to a positive start.”

Merrimack’s last match took place on October 23rd against Assumption, where Kiana Thompson and Guilia Martins Cavalcante secured singles victories and also won their doubles match.
