Merrimack women’s track and field secures four wins at UMass Lowell D’Amour Invitational

The Merrimack Women’s Track and Field team achieved four event victories and nine podium finishes at the UMass Lowell D’Amour Invitational on March 28.

The results highlight strong performances across multiple events, demonstrating the team’s depth in both sprints and field competitions.

In the 100 meter dash, Riley Paskow led a group of four Warriors finishing in the top eight by winning with a time of 12.57 seconds. Lillian Warner finished second at 12.61 seconds, Jennifer Baker placed fourth with a time of 12.81 seconds, and Piper Testa was seventh at 12.85 seconds. Paskow also won the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.40 seconds, followed by Testa in fourth (26.11), Warner in fifth (26.24), and Baker in seventh (26.78).

Isabella Tomic claimed victory in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:07.07, while Julia Holt took fourth place in the 400 meter dash clocking in at 1:01.27.

Rebecca Russalesi secured second place in the 800 meter race (2:22.63) as Caroline White finished fourth (2:23.72). The relay team of Warner, Grace Bleyer, Testa, and Madison DeCamp earned second place in the 4×100 relay with a time of 48.85 seconds.

Additional podium finishes included Lily Thomas’s performance in the 3000 meters (10:18.26) and Bella Hayes’s shot put throw of 11.91 meters for third place.

Caitlin Garrahy won the hammer throw event with a mark of 46.56 meters while Katie Sills was runner-up in pole vault clearing three meters fifteen centimeters.

Other notable results include several top-eight placements across various running distances as well as long jump, triple jump, discus throw, and additional field events involving multiple athletes from Merrimack College.
