The Merrimack women’s tennis team lost to Quinnipiac 7-0 on Apr. 9 at The Brooks School in North Reading, Massachusetts.
The result keeps Quinnipiac undefeated in conference play and secures their position at the top of the standings. For Merrimack, this match marked the end of their Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) schedule for the season.
Quinnipiac’s strong performance allowed them to maintain their first-place standing, while Merrimack was unable to secure a point during the matchup. The defeat reflects both teams’ positions within the conference as they approach the end of regular season play.
