The Endicott women’s lacrosse team fell to No. 5 nationally ranked Tufts, 20-6, on Tuesday evening in non-conference action at Bello Field.

Kiana Napolitano (Revere, Mass.) and Mia Smith (Portsmouth, N.H.) both scored twice, while Katie Schenk (Southbury, Conn.) and Carly Pierce (Exeter, N.H) also found the back of the net in the setback. 

In goal, Lydia Akins (Edina, Minn.) was dealt the loss (2-5 record, 7 saves), while Kaitlin Bressette (Annadale, N.J.) also made three saves in 26:54 of action.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE 

  • Tufts is undefeated in the all-time series versus Endicott (14-0).
  • The Jumbos improved to 4-0 at home.
  • Smith notched the first multi-goal game of her collegiate career. 

WHAT’S NEXT 

Endicott (2-5) hosts Wentworth on Wednesday, March 29 at 4 PM. No. 5 Tufts travels to No. 1 Middlebury on Saturday, April 1 at 12 PM.
