On Sunday, May 18, former Phillips Academy standout Andrew Mazzone’s current collegiate team the CMS Stags won 6-2 against the UW La Crosse Eagles in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.
The game took place at Copeland Park at 2:10 p.m. and was the third matchup against the UW La Crosse Eagles in the tournament.
The CMS Stags’ next game will take place on Friday, May 23 at 2 p.m. at North Field.
Merrimack College Women’s Basketball will face the Quinnipiac Bobcats at Lawler Arena on Monday, with tipoff scheduled for 2:00 p.m. The Warriors have had a strong start to the new year, winning five of their last six games.
Merrimack College women’s hockey player Adreanna Doucette has been named the Hockey East Goaltender of the Week.
Freshman Joi Williams scored a season-high 19 points for the Merrimack women’s basketball team, but it was not enough to overcome Quinnipiac, who secured a 75-61 victory on Monday.
