Senior Rafli Sati finished first with a score of three under par at the Sacred Heart Spring Break Invitational, helping the Merrimack Warriors men’s golf team secure a tie for fifth place overall. The tournament took place in Fleming Island, Florida, and concluded on March 10.

Sati’s performance stood out as he finished three strokes ahead of the second-place competitor. He began the event with a round of three under par and maintained his lead throughout the tournament.

Other notable performances for Merrimack included Brendan Zinck and Sean Roddy, who both completed the three-day event with scores of 22 over par. Zinck recorded his best round with a one under par in the third round, while Roddy posted rounds of three over par in both his first and second rounds.

In terms of team standings, Manhattan secured first place with a total score of 23 over par. Niagara, Monmouth, and Binghamton all tied for second at 25 over par. Merrimack finished tied for fifth at 27 over par.

The next competition for the Warriors will be at the Columbia Spring Invitational later this month. That tournament is scheduled to take place in Springfield, Pennsylvania at Rolling Green Golf Club.

The results highlight Sati’s strong individual showing and set up Merrimack for their upcoming events.
