Schnider ties school record as Merrimack defeats New Haven in women’s lacrosse

Merrimack College’s women’s lacrosse team secured a decisive 18-8 victory over the University of New Haven at Duane Stadium on Wednesday. The game began with both teams exchanging goals, but Merrimack quickly took control by scoring 12 consecutive goals. Lindsey Atkinson and Hailey Schnider each recorded first-half hat tricks and contributed five points apiece.

In the second half, Merrimack maintained its momentum. Hailey Schnider added four more goals, finishing with seven goals and nine points for the day. This performance matched the program’s Division I single-game goal record, previously set by Meghan Dzialo against LIU on April 10, 2021.

Additional contributions came from Lindie Brinkman, Ashlyn Campbell, and Mia Estelle, who each scored twice in the win.

The Warriors are scheduled to play their next game against Radford University on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
