On Saturday, March 14, Southern Connecticut State Owls, featuring former Tilton School star Tish Blackwood, were defeated 61-51 by the Holy Family Tigers in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The contest, which began at 7:30 p.m., was held at James Moore Field House and marked the Owls’ first tournament game against Holy Family.
