Gas was priced at $2.62 per gallon.

The lowest price for a gallon of regular gas in Suffolk County during the week ending Apr. 4 was $3.59, according to customer reports to GasBuddy.
In Essex County, the week’s lowest premium gas price was $4.23 per gallon as of the week ending Apr. 4.
