The Endicott softball team is scheduled to begin its 2023 season on Sunday, March 12 in Winter Haven, Florida against Franklin & Marshall (11:30 AM) and No. 20 nationally ranked Babson (2 PM). Here's a preview of the Gulls' upcoming season.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Endicott was named the league's preseason favorite in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Coaches Poll.
- The Gulls return National Fastball Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American Second Team selection Raven Comtois (Milford, N.H.) to the lineup along All-Region honorees Maria Hanchuk (South Windsor, Conn.), Katie Watts (Swampscott, Mass.), Jaylin Couto (Taunton, Mass.), and Lauren Misiaszek (Londonderry, N.H.).
- Endicott will play two nationally ranked teams during their spring break trip (March 12-17) in No. 20 Babson (3/12) and No. 11 Case Western Reserve (3/14).
- The Blue and Green will look to capture their league-leading 14th CCC Championship this spring.
- It would be the Gulls' fourth straight league title (2019, 2021, 2022).
