Makayla Rooney, former Peabody Veterans Memorial High School softball player will compete with her collegiate team for the NCAA D3 Softball Championship

Framingham State Rams Coach Larry Miller (2024) | Framingham State Rams

Former Peabody Veterans Memorial High School player and current Framingham State Rams catcher and third baseman, Makayla Rooney, will compete in the NCAA D3 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number four seed against the first seeded Husson Eagles.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
