Graduation Analysis: 1.9% more students graduated from Danvers Public Schools District in 2022-23 school year

Danvers Public Schools District had a 93.7% graduation rate during the 2022-23 school year, 1.9% higher than the previous school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

There were 193 students who graduated in the 2022-23 school year, compared to 191 the year before.

Danvers Public Schools District had the 81st highest graduation rate in the state.

Danvers Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Essex County and has a main office in Danvers.

In 2024, public schools in Massachusetts boasted a graduation rate of 90%, according to Public School Review.

However, younger students' proficiency is still lagging behind pre-pandemic levels. NAEP results show that in 2022, less than 47% of the students were considered proficient in math and reading, with eighth-graders performing the worst, reaching only 35% proficiency in math.
